Cyclamen coum produces its pretty dainty blooms from late winter to early spring. The leaves, which have silver patterning over dark green foliage, and flowers appear at the same time. Flower colours vary from white to deep red. Plant the corms 3cm to 5cm (1in to-2in) deep in the ground under the shade of trees. Will grown in most soils types. Mulch annually with leaf mould to help prevent the tubers from drying out in the summer and from winter cold.
