Full time garden centre assistant - 

We require an enthusiastic person to help in the growing, care and maintenance of our stock, as well as the general cleaning and tidying of the garden centre and surrounding areas. Also dealing with the general public from first enquiry through to completing a sale on the tills. The successful candidate will have a friendly, welcoming manner and be able to fully interact with the general public. The right candidate will be able to work as part of a team or by themselves. Attention to detail is essential. Experience with the general public is essential and experience of horticulture will be an advantage. Involves some lifting.

The job will be 78 hours over a 2-week period, to include some weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota system. Extra hours will be required as and when necessary during busy periods.

Attention to detail is essential. Experience with the general public is essential and experience of horticulture will be an advantage. Involves some lifting.

The job will be 14-21 hours per week, (Wednesday to Friday), to include some weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota system. Extra hours will be required as and when necessary during busy periods.
