Like most garden centres, we stock chemicals and fertilizers for many different applications.
If you’re not sure what to use just as a member of staff, who will be able to give you advice. If you’ve got a garden pest or plant disease problem and are uncertain what it is, just bring a piece in with you, in a plastic bag and we’ll do our best to identify it and suggest a treatment.
During the autumn/winter months use Bonemeal fertilizer in the garden - this is slow acting, so by next spring it will be ready to be taken up by your plants as they start re-growing.
Now is the time to apply Autumn lawn care to your lawn, this will strengthen the roots for winter protection and if you use one with a moss killer, it will kill any moss in your lawn. Remember to make sure that any moss in the lawn is dead before trying to rake it out; otherwise you will spread moss all over the lawn!
We have in stock a range of bubble and fleece to insulate your glasshouse and protect your plants through the colder months. Also netting to cover ponds to stop leaves falling in them. All of these are available by the metre, so you only need to buy what you actually need.
